What is GIS?
GIS stands for Geographic Information Systems. GIS is an organized collection of computer hardware, software, geographic data and personnel designed to efficiently capture, store, update, manipulate, analyze and display all forms of geographically referenced information.
MCAG has been developing and using GIS since 1986. The purpose for MCAG's GIS programs are to provide the member agencies throughout Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine, Livingston, Los Banos, Merced and Merced County with the most current and accurate parcel level planning information.

Message from MCAG's GIS Program Manager: (March 23, 2008)
The GIS Maps Online now contains road and parcel data for the area near Dos Palos that was annexed into Merced County on January 1, 2008. We currently do not have any parcel information such as address for these new parcels yet.
In the Map Gallery you can download some of the PDFs of the maps we create like General Plan and Zoning maps.
